Batman: Caped Crusader: Review: Season 2: Episodes 1-2
Episode 1, “Brute Force,” sets a heavy tone on Prime Video by using Rupert Thorne’s trial to throw Gotham into chaos while a gun-toting, unhinged Eddie Nygma steps up as a real menace. It feels fresh because Nygma isn’t just playing polite riddler games; he’s moving like a violent mob enforcer, giving Batman a hard time while the city watches.
Episode 2, “Rocket’s Red Glare,” shifts gears into a high-flying vendetta against Triad Industries. Watching the Dark Knight track down a vengeful rocketeer keeps the old-school 1940s noir vibe humming nicely, proving the show still knows how to balance classic street-level grit with slick detective work.
